Write about a visit to a bank.
The bank was converted from a former courthouse but retained some of the features dating back to the 14th century, and still has ancient cells and its own gallows in the basement down an ornate spiral staircase. Naturally it has an alarm system second-to-none, but although the night surveillance cameras constantly record images of people no alarm is ever activated. The most notorious footage is of the last execution that took place. Every year on the anniversary it is re-enacted but not by the living and thankfully the body of the hanged man always disappears just as the bank opens.
