The twelve apostles watched as villagers gathered. Most were lost or distressed while others had simply forlorn. Jude, faithful servant of Jesus greeted them all with kind words, a gentle touch and urged them that even in these times of great difficulty they were to believe because succour would come unto them, little realising what the future would hold for him and the part he would forever play.
The Vatican would see fit to eventually canonize him as a saint, the Patron Saint of Lost Causes and from then he represented a symbol to choosing faith when all seemed lost.
